Cardboard Alley Players Put on “Criminal Minds” Show

From May 9th-11th, the Cardboard Alley Players (CAP) produced the show Criminal Minds. And no, it is not based on the television show. 
It was directed by Hartwick student Mike Seeber ’13. Members of CAP, which were basically members of Hartwick’s theater department, put this show together and it went very well.

Held this past Saturday, two teams representing charities for good causes made their presences known the Frisbee Field. Both teams sought to preserve the honor of their organizations but only one could be made crowned champion. In the end, both teams dueled valiantly but it was the knights of St. Jude’s that came out on top.

“Cross body, send her out the door, ask for her hand, hesitations, head twirl, shadow, bring her home!” These seemingly odd phrases were actually some of the dance moves that were taught at the Ballroom Dance Club’s Hustle Workshop last Friday evening.

Five Hartwick Students Run Olympic-Distance Race

Since February, five members of the Hartwick Multi-Sport Club have been training for an Olympic-distance race. 
Sheila Niedziela ‘13 and Abby Nelson ‘14 signed up for the duathlon, and John Stuligross ‘13, Trevor Mayer ‘15 and Ethan Kelly ‘16 signed up for the triathlon event.
